Space bar - Plays/stops playing the current file from the
BEGINNING
Tab key - Plays from the insertion point (where you click
and place the cursor)
Period - Pauses the playback
OptionClickDrag - If you click-and-drag the cursor, it selects
everything on BOTH channels. To select on ONLY ONE CHANNEL, Option-Click-Drag
If you have ZOOMED in so that your file extends beyond the current
window:
Left arrow - Shifts the content of the window to the left
Right arrow - Shifts the content of the window to the right
CommandClick - Places a MARKER. DoubleClick the MARKER to
edit change the name, etc.)
ShiftClick - Extends the selection to the clicked point
Space bar when recording - Starts/stops the recording
Tab key when recording - Places a marker at the current point
Down arrow - slows down the playback by half an octave
Up arrow - Speeds up the playback by half an octave
Command+left arrow - Extends the selection to the previous
mark
Command+right arrow- Extends the selection to the next mark
Page up - Jumps to the beginning of the sound (I couldn't
get this to work)
Page down - Jumps to the end of the sound (I couldn't get this
to work)
a - Extends the selection of ONE POINT to the left
s - Shrinks the selection of ONE POINT at the left
d - Shrinks the selection of ONE POINT at the right
f - Extends the selection of ONE POINT to the right
+ ZOOMS deeper into the sound
- ZOOMS out of the sound
