Computer Music (MUSC 216) Interactor Tutorials: Programming Mode; Performance Mode Interactor has two OPERATING MODEs: (1) PROGRAMMING MODE and (2) PERFORMANCE MODE. When in PROGRAMMING MODE you can edit a scene, edit the Controls Window, etc. When in PERFORMANCE MODE, Interactor will only process EVENTS. To enter PERFORMANCE MODE, do one of the following:
When Interactor is in PERFORMANCE MODE, the "exclamation point" button located at the top left of the Controls Window is replaced with a red "Stop Sign."
When Interactor is in Programming MODE, you will see an "exclamation point" button located at the top left of the Controls Window.
